We have made the responsible decision to temporarily close our business in line with Government guidelines in order to protect our valued customers and employees. We have created this list of commonly asked questions to advise you about issues relating to your BMW vehicle. No, our dealerships are now closed until further notice in line with Government guidelines. We have key staff working from home who can answer the majority of your queries but please allow us a little time to respond. We will advise customers of planned re-opening dates on our website, our Facebook page and directly where you have contacted us with a specific query.
Please note we expect to be very busy when we re-open and will work to accommodate all customers’ requirements on a fair and equitable basis. Our lead times may be longer than normal as a result of the enforced closure period so please bear with us while we catch up with looking after all of our customers.
Yes, at our Edinburgh, Stirling and Dundee branches. This is a very limited service only for key workers such as NHS staff and vulnerable customers who need urgent repairs to their car as an essential form of travel.
For eligible customers with urgent requirements this service is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, subject to availability. Please call us if you are an eligible customer requiring support, or email us on the addresses detailed below.
Yes, you can reserve any new or used BMW with a £500 deposit and arrange to collect it when we re-open. We cannot confirm when this will be at this stage. Some of our key staff are working from home so can provide finance quotes and other information you may require by e-mail, phone or video call. Showroom visits, test drives and vehicle deliveries are not currently available for obvious reasons.
Yes, from our Edinburgh, Stirling and Dundee branches, Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm. We are offering a mail order service only with online secure card payment.
Please email us your requirements using the email address below for your preferred branch and our Parts team will respond as soon as they can. We are operating with a very limited staff level but will aim to get your order dispatched as quickly as possible.
No please don’t, this would not be in line with government guidelines. We have tried to contact our booked customers to explain this but may have been unable to reach you due to staff shortages and the unprecedented rate of change we were dealing with prior to closure.

At this stage we cannot say, we will be keeping records of all customers who require our services and contacting them to make a booking when it is safe for you and our staff to do so, in line with Government guidelines. Yes, if you have a full BMW service history, your cover will be extended until your next service date, which we will arrange for you as soon as we re-open. Part of the BMW promise is that you get one year’s free BMW Roadside Assistance with your annual service, but this 12 month period will be extended for customers affected by this enforced closure.

As most drivers will be doing very limited mileages for the foreseeable future, the likelihood of recall components causing undue concern is lower than normal. Therefore, we aim to complete outstanding recalls for our customers when we re-open. However, if you would like to discuss any recalls on your BMW vehicle sooner, please email your local branch using the address below and we will contact you as soon as we can.
Please contact your nearest branch using the email address below, detailing your vehicle registration number and the nature of the issue you would like us to check.
If we can record your concern whilst your vehicle is still in warranty we will work with BMW GB to carry out the warranty claim for you if it is a covered item and your warranty is still valid and within the allowed mileage limit. Please note that we will not be able to check your car, advise on the coverage and carry out the repair if you wish us to do so until we re-open.
