At Eastern Western, we provide our very own smart roadside assistance breakdown cover package to help make sure you always have peace of mind and can get your car sorted if in trouble. Available for 365 days of the year at any time, any place or any situation, our breakdown cover covers a wide range of issues from minor faults through to major technical issues. What’s more, but our smart breakdown cover also covers you when you’re abroad should you wish to take your smart on holiday.

This will help our Customer Assistance Centre decide whether the vehicle can be safely driven to the nearest Mercedes-Benz Official Workshop, needs to be booked in for a workshop repair at a later date, or requires roadside assistance.
Whether your smart breaks down at roadside, home, or work, we’ll come to you wherever you are.
If you prefer to stay locally, we’ll cover the cost of bed and breakfast accommodation for the driver and passengers while the repairs are carried out, up to three working days..
If the required repair is a minor one, and can be completed at the roadside, we will cover the cost of labour and small part. This excludes batteries (unless covered by warranty)/tyres/keys/fluids.
If required, we will organise and cover the cost of towing your car to the local smart Retailer, or an alternative smart Retailer of your choice (within a radius of 30 miles) of the breakdown location).
If you breakdown far from home, we will arrange to take your car back to your local smart Retailer if the repair cannot be completed within 3 working days.
If you breakdown locally, once the repair is complete, we will arrange and cover the cost of the return of your car, to your home, within a 30 mile radius of the smart Retailer.
If we can’t get your smart back on the road immediately, we’ll provide you with a replacement car for the duration of your repair, up to three working days.
Whenever and wherever you are, our Roadside Assistance team are here for you - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, anywhere in the UK or Europe.
To help you on your journey, we’ll cover the cost of a taxi or public transport. If your journey requires train or plane travel, we’ll cover the cost for return flight or train travel for the driver and passengers as an alternative to a replacement car.
