The new Tiguan shows what it means to keep reinventing oneself. As its progressive design clearly illustrates. From the powerful proportions to the dynamic front with its precise lines to the pronounced shoulders, the expressive silhouette further emphasises its strengths: innovative power, sovereignty and uncompromising functionality.
The generous interior of the new Tiguan is a space for forward-thinkers. With the intuitive controls of the driver-oriented cockpit you can now concentrate completely on the essentials. For example, the multifunction steering wheel in leather. Or the Digital Cockpit Pro with its 26 cm (10.25 inch) TFT colour display available to you as standard with the Tiguan Elegance and Tiguan R-Line. The Life specification package provides you and your front passenger with especially luxurious comfort seats. The LED interior lighting in the front and rear and the ambient lighting* create a cosy atmosphere of the highest quality.

The Tiguan shines in full splendor. Also thanks to the LED tail light clusters and the optional IQ.LIGHT - LED matrix headlights. The Tiguan Elegance comes with cornering lights and are complemented with dynamic Light Assist and new taillights. Thus, depending on the driving situation, individual LED segments are specifically switched on or off for the light distribution. This ensures that not only you have a relaxing drive but also everyone in front of you or in the oncoming traffic. Another spectacular feature is the integrated dynamic turn signal that shows the direction with a fluid light movement.
From now on you’ll see your Tiguan in a new light every day, as you gently illuminate the vehicle interior in 30 colours. Whether with a cooler or warmer colour climate, in the brightly-lit city or on a dark road at night, depending on the occasion you create a different, suitable atmosphere for you and your passengers. Ambient lighting is part of the standard equipment for Tiguan Elegance and Tiguan R-Line, but also optionally available for Tiguan Life.

The new Tiguan puts technology on the road to get you to where you’re going more smoothly. These include the optional Travel Assist. At the push of a button it provides driving comfort* of the highest quality by supporting you in monotonous or tiring driving situations.
* Within the limits of the system. The driver must be ready at all times to override the assist system and is not relieved of his responsibility to drive the car carefully.
The optional Emergency Assist* intervenes in a medical emergency when it detects that the driver is no longer active, and attempts to reactivate them.** If this is not successful, it brings the vehicle to a controlled standstill within the limits of the system and can thus also possibly prevent an accident.

Thanks to its Front Assist emergency braking assistant with Pedestrian Monitoring, the Tiguan can help reduce the severity of the accident or, ideally, avoid the accident in the event of a collision threat.* It can detect pedestrians and vehicles on the road and warn the driver in time. If the driver does not react the system can initiate emergency braking.*
