Mazda Motor Corporation has announced plans to introduce a refreshed version of its brand symbol, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the company as it looks toward the future. The updated emblem will be showcased prominently at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, offering visitors a glimpse into Mazda’s evolving brand identity and long-term vision.
First unveiled in 1997, Mazda’s existing symbol features a stylised “M” shaped like wings in motion—representing innovation, agility, and the brand’s drive toward continuous progress. The newly updated design preserves this core essence while refining the emblem for a more modern era.
With a sleeker, bolder form, the updated symbol improves visibility across digital platforms and aligns with Mazda’s contemporary design philosophy. Alongside the emblem, a new wordmark has also been introduced, offering a cleaner and more modern visual expression of the Mazda name.
As Mazda prepares for this rollout, the company reaffirms its dedication to delivering the “Joy of Driving” and its guiding principle of being “Radically Human.” These values continue to shape Mazda’s mission to create mobility experiences that inspire, enrich, and bring greater joy to everyday life.
