Škoda Teases New Seven-Seat Electric Flagship Ahead of June Reveal

Škoda has released the first official exterior sketches of its upcoming all-electric seven-seat SUV, the new Peaq, offering an early look at the brand's future flagship model ahead of its world premiere later this month.

The sketches showcase the latest evolution of Škoda's Modern Solid design language, characterised by clean surfaces, sharp lines and a strong visual presence. The Peaq is set to become the largest electric SUV in the Czech manufacturer's line-up and marks another significant step in its expanding EV strategy.

"The Peaq is set to become the largest electric SUV in Škoda's line-up, marking a major step forward in the brand's electric vehicle ambitions."

According to Karl Neuhold, Head of Exterior Design at Škoda Auto, the Peaq combines "clean lines, balanced proportions and distinctive elements" to create a confident and timeless appearance.

At the front, the SUV features slim T-shaped headlights integrated with Škoda's signature gloss-black Tech-Deck Face. A connecting light element links the headlamps to form a distinctive loop motif, while a sculpted bumper with a pronounced lower section adds to the vehicle's commanding stance.

The side profile highlights a high shoulder line, broad D-pillars and flush-fitting door handles, all of which contribute to the Peaq's modern and aerodynamic appearance. Strong surface treatments further emphasise the SUV's substantial proportions.

At the rear, the design mirrors the front-end treatment, with T-shaped tail lights connected by a similar illuminated element to reinforce the vehicle's identity and improve recognition on the road.

Škoda says the Peaq's design has been developed to reflect the company's transition into a new electric era while retaining key brand characteristics.

The all-new Škoda Peaq will make its global debut in Monnetier-Mornex, France, at 18:25 local time on 23 June 2026.

The Peaq will become the latest addition to Škoda's growing electric vehicle range, joining models such as the Epiq, Elroq and Enyaq as the manufacturer pushes towards its goal of becoming one of Europe's top three best-selling automotive brands by the end of the decade.
