The Mazda CX-60 is also our first PHEV, and with it we are launching a whole range of new driver-centric technologies.

The Mazda CX-60 PHEV is based on a rear wheel drive platform, however it is only available with all-wheel drive.
The Mazda CX-60 benefits from the smoothness and improved handling offered by a rear-wheel-drive setup, and also benefits from the added stability and traction offered by an all-wheel drive system, particularly on low traction surfaces. Additionally, the AWD system will maximise the amount of energy that can be recovered from all 4 wheels when braking using an advanced regenerative braking system, helping to charge the battery on the move.
In short, as the front wheels steer and rear wheels drive the car, the Mazda CX-60 lay-out offers a much better distribution of the forces while accelerating, braking, steering and cornering. As a result, dynamic performances like traction, handling, overall smoothness and road noise are greatly improved compared to a front wheel drive vehicle. For the driver and the passengers, this means improved comfort and a much quieter ride.
The Mazda CX-60 is the company's first plug-in hybrid. It will feature a straight-four petrol engine combined with an electric motor powered by a 17.8 kWh battery based on our established SKYACTIV powertrain.

The Mazda CX-60 Exclusive-Line offers a wide range of standard features. The exterior has hands-free power liftgate, 18” alloy wheels and LED headlights. Inside a 12.3” Colour entertainment display with Mazda Connect Infotainment system. Then for added comfort a heated steering wheel, Black leather seats and heated front seats.
The Mazda CX-60 Homura offers 20” Black Metallic alloy wheels, gloss Black honeycomb front grille and gloss Black wing mirrors for a more sportier appearance. Inside a range of features for added comfort; front seat ventilation, electric steering wheel adjustment, heated outer rear seats and the new Mazda Personalisation System.
