Nissan has unveiled the all-new Nissan PIXO, a compact all-electric city car designed specifically for European towns and cities. Combining distinctive Nissan design, practical interior space and advanced connected technology, the new PIXO is set to bring a fresh and accessible option to Nissan's growing electric vehicle range.
With a 161-mile WLTP driving range, 50kW DC rapid charging as standard, an innovative 27.5kWh LFP battery, Google built-in with Gemini, Face ID, One Pedal technology and flexible rear seating, the Nissan PIXO has been developed around the demands of everyday urban driving.
The all-new PIXO joins the recently launched Nissan LEAF and All-New Nissan MICRA as part of Nissan's expanding all-electric line-up in Europe.
Unveiled by Nissan in London, the all-new PIXO is an A-segment electric city car designed specifically for European customers.
At just 3,796mm long and 1,790mm wide, PIXO's compact footprint is designed to make navigating busy city centres, narrow streets and tight parking spaces easier. Despite its small exterior dimensions, clever packaging provides space for up to four adults, while independent sliding rear seats add flexibility when carrying passengers or larger items.
PIXO also offers 356 litres of boot capacity with the rear seats raised, increasing to 1,221 litres with the rear seats folded. There is also 18 litres of additional cabin storage and 50 litres of dedicated charging cable storage.
The result is an electric city car designed to combine manoeuvrability with everyday practicality.
The new Nissan PIXO has been engineered around the needs of everyday urban driving, offering a 161-mile WLTP range from its 27.5kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery.
For drivers who need to recharge away from home, 50kW DC rapid charging is standard across the range. A 15–80% charge takes approximately 28 minutes, helping make rapid charging more convenient during longer journeys or busy days.
PIXO also supports 11kW AC charging, including bi-directional charging capability, making it suitable for home and workplace charging.
The LFP battery is notable because it is the first of its type to be fitted to a Nissan model in Europe, providing another option for customers considering their first electric vehicle.
The all-new Nissan PIXO introduces a fresh interpretation of Nissan's design language for compact electric vehicles.
Its cube-inspired proportions, clean surfaces and compact silhouette give PIXO a distinctive road presence, while pixel-inspired lighting and its expressive front-end design reinforce its modern character.
Nissan has also incorporated playful details throughout the design, including hidden "23" Easter eggs, referencing the Japanese pronunciation of Nissan, and a distinctive "robot face" expression integrated into the front bumper.
Customers will also be able to choose from contemporary exterior colours including Wonder Purple and Gear Blue, adding to PIXO's youthful and distinctive urban character.
Despite its compact dimensions, the all-new Nissan PIXO features a comprehensive range of connected technology designed to make everyday driving simpler.
Google built-in provides integrated navigation, route planning and connectivity, while Gemini offers natural voice interaction for navigation, communication and entertainment.
Available from launch in 16 languages and dialects, Gemini can provide personalised assistance throughout a journey. Conversation history can also help Gemini learn driver preferences over time.
PIXO also features Face ID, allowing the vehicle to recognise the driver and automatically load personalised settings.
The technology is presented through a 7-inch driver display and 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, providing access to vehicle information, navigation, entertainment and connected services.
The MyNissan app and connected services also allow drivers to manage vehicle functions and charging remotely.
PIXO's compact dimensions are complemented by a 9.9-metre turning circle, helping it manoeuvre through tight urban environments and into smaller parking spaces.
Its fully electric drivetrain delivers 60kW of maximum power, providing immediate response and acceleration from the moment the accelerator is pressed.
One Pedal technology is also fitted, allowing drivers to accelerate, decelerate and bring the vehicle to a stop using the accelerator pedal. This can be particularly useful during stop-start urban driving.
A range of advanced driver assistance technologies are also included, with features such as Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go functionality, Lane Departure Warning and Hands-Free Parking designed to provide additional convenience and confidence.
