New 76-plate Nissan LEAF

One of the attractions for customers purchasing a new Nissan LEAF during September is the opportunity to take delivery of a vehicle carrying the UK's new 76 registration plate, introduced on 1 September 2026.

The all-new LEAF combines Nissan's latest electric vehicle technology with a dramatic new fastback design, making it significantly different from previous generations of the iconic electric car.

The latest model is available with either a 52kWh or 75kWh battery, allowing customers to select the configuration that best suits their driving requirements.

The 75kWh version offers a WLTP range of up to 387 miles on a single charge, while the 52kWh model provides an attractive balance between purchase price, range and everyday usability.

Four Nissan LEAF grades to choose from

The all-new Nissan LEAF is available in four grades, providing customers with a broad choice of equipment and price points.

Nissan LEAF Engage

The Engage provides an accessible entry point into the new LEAF range, while still offering Nissan's latest connected technology and electric vehicle features.

Nissan LEAF Engage+

Engage+ builds on the standard specification with additional equipment for customers looking for even greater convenience and technology.

Nissan LEAF Advance

The Advance grade adds further premium equipment and technology, providing a higher level of specification for customers wanting more from their electric family car.

Nissan LEAF Evolve

At the top of the range, Evolve provides the most comprehensive specification, combining the LEAF's electric powertrain with Nissan's highest levels of technology and equipment.

Depending on specification, highlights across the range include Google Built-in technology, a dimming panoramic roof featuring LEAF detailing and innovative 3D tail-lights.

Nissan LEAF: range, technology and efficiency

The all-new Nissan LEAF has been developed to make electric driving easier and more accessible, combining impressive range with advanced connectivity and aerodynamic efficiency.

The 75kWh model can travel up to 387 miles WLTP on a single charge, making it particularly well suited to customers who regularly undertake longer journeys.

The new LEAF is also Nissan's most aerodynamic production car to date, helping improve energy efficiency and maximise the available driving range.

Fast charging capability provides additional convenience for longer trips, while the latest generation of Nissan technology is designed to make everyday EV ownership straightforward.

Auto Express names Nissan LEAF Car of the Year

The latest PCP offers arrive shortly after the all-new Nissan LEAF received significant recognition from Auto Express.

The LEAF was named Auto Express Car of the Year 2026 before subsequently taking first place in the publication's ranking of all 161 electric cars on sale in the UK.

Auto Express described the new LEAF as “an outstanding electric family car … which hits the sweet spot in every area”.

The recognition highlights the LEAF's combination of electric range, value, technology, practicality and driving characteristics.

Built in Britain: Nissan LEAF manufactured in Sunderland

The all-new Nissan LEAF has another important connection with the UK: it is built at Nissan's manufacturing plant in Sunderland.

The production of the new LEAF at Sunderland reinforces the site's importance to Nissan's electric vehicle strategy and its longstanding contribution to British automotive manufacturing.

For UK customers, the LEAF therefore combines Nissan's latest global EV technology with a strong connection to British manufacturing.

What happens at the end of a Nissan LEAF PCP agreement?

At the end of the PCP repayment period, customers have three options, subject to the terms of their finance agreement:

  1. Return the vehicle – provided it meets the agreed condition and mileage requirements.
  2. Keep the vehicle – by paying the optional final payment, subject to the applicable agreement terms.
  3. Part-exchange the vehicle – using any available equity towards another vehicle.
