On Thursday 7th May 2026 we proudly brought together multiple brands under one roof for a landmark collaborative corporate event, ‘Drive Your Business Forward’, hosted at The Pavilion, Ingliston.
The event marked a significant moment for the group, uniting Western Mercedes-Benz, Western Commercial, smart of Edinburgh, and Western Maxus for a shared showcase focused on the future of mobility, electrification, and business transport solutions.
Across three dedicated sessions, guests were welcomed for an immersive experience designed to highlight how the automotive landscape is evolving to meet the changing needs of modern businesses. Attendees engaged directly with brand specialists, explored the latest award-winning vehicle ranges, and gained valuable insight into the transition towards electric mobility.
A key highlight of the day was a keynote presentation from Ben Grocott, who delivered an informative and engaging session on charging infrastructure. His presentation addressed key considerations around electrification, while also helping to dispel common myths and misconceptions surrounding the adoption of electric vehicles across both passenger and commercial markets.
Guests had the opportunity to experience a wide range of vehicles first-hand, from premium passenger cars to commercial vans and electric business-focused solutions. The collaborative format allowed attendees to compare technologies and explore tailored options to suit a variety of operational and fleet requirements.
Western Mercedes-Benz showcased its latest electrified and award-winning model range, while Western Commercial Mercedes-Benz Vans demonstrated the evolving capabilities of modern commercial mobility solutions. smart of Edinburgh highlighted innovative urban electric mobility designed for efficiency and futureproofing businesses, and Maxus presented its expanding line-up of electric commercial vehicles built to support businesses transitioning to zero-emission operations.
The event was met with strong attendance and provided a valuable platform for conversation, collaboration, and forward-thinking discussion around the future of mobility and sustainability within the automotive sector.
