Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is celebrating a fantastic double victory at the Great British Fleet Awards 2025, taking home ‘EV Van of the Year’ for the iconic ID. Buzz Cargo and ‘Medium Van of the Year’ for the all-new Transporter.
Held in Milton Keynes, the prestigious awards recognise the best in fleet vehicles, products, and services – and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles certainly made an impression.
Three in a row – ID. Buzz Cargo Named ‘EV Van of the Year’ Again
For the third consecutive year, the all-electric ID. Buzz Cargo has been crowned ‘EV Van of the Year’, impressing judges with its unmistakable design, modern features, and ever-growing range of options.
Now available with:
A new, more affordable 59kWh entry-level variant
4MOTION all-wheel drive models
And the well-established 79kWh version offering up to 276 miles of range
Judges highlighted the van’s clean, car-like interior, easy-to-use infotainment, and practicality for fleet operators.
John Kendall, Editor at Van Fleet World, praised the ID. Buzz Cargo, saying:

All-New Transporter Secures ‘Medium Van of the Year’ Title
The seventh-generation Transporter is already proving a favourite among professionals, taking the top spot as ‘Medium Van of the Year’ thanks to its class-leading practicality and versatility.
