Volkswagen ID. Promise – 100 Days to Drive and Decide

Volkswagen is introducing the ID. Promise — giving new electric car customers extra peace of mind with up to 100 days to drive and decide.

If you’re considering making the switch to electric, the ID. Promise makes it easier than ever. Customers purchasing a new Volkswagen ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7 or ID.7 Tourer between 3 November 2025 and 31 March 2026 can enjoy between 80 and 100 days to experience their new car and decide if it’s the right fit.

If, for any reason, you change your mind within that period, you can return your vehicle for a refund — minus a small fixed usage charge and any repair costs for damage or modifications made since collection.

The offer is available to retail customers, whether buying outright or through a Volkswagen Financial Services Solutions PCP agreement. (Motability, contract hire, fleet, and ex-demonstrator purchases are excluded.)

“More than 1.3 million UK motorists have already switched to electric, and most say they would never go back. But for those still unsure, this initiative offers the perfect chance to ‘drive and decide’ with complete confidence.”

All Volkswagen ID. models are among the top performers for safety according to Euro NCAP, and have earned multiple awards — including Best Family Car (ID.3, GQ Car Awards), Best Saloon (ID.7, Autocar Awards), and World Car of the Year (ID.4).
