You must be in receipt of one of the following Mobility Allowances to be able to lease a new Volkswagen on the Motability Scheme:
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)- Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
- You must have at least 12 months' award length remaining.

Once you're on the Scheme, many of the costs and responsibilities of running a car are taken care of. Your lease includes insurance, servicing, maintenance, breakdown cover and annual road tax. At the end of your lease, you can simply choose a new Volkswagen and continue enjoying worry-free motoring.
Yes. You do not have to be the only driver of your Motability vehicle.
You can name up to two additional drivers on your lease. This could include your partner, a family member or a carer. If you are unable to drive yourself, both named drivers can drive the vehicle on your behalf, provided they meet the Motability Scheme's eligibility requirements.
