Volkswagen has offered a first look at the upcoming ID. Cross, a new all-electric compact SUV set to join the ID. family.
Expected to arrive in Europe from autumn 2026, the ID. Cross is designed to make electric driving more accessible, combining everyday practicality with modern technology and strong value.
The ID. Cross brings together compact dimensions with a spacious, flexible interior. With five seats and a clear, intuitive layout, it is built to handle both daily journeys and longer trips with ease.
Inside, the focus is on simplicity and comfort, with high-quality materials, large displays and easy-to-use controls creating a calm and modern driving environment.
The ID. Cross will offer a range of power outputs and battery options, giving drivers the flexibility to choose a setup that suits their lifestyle, whether that is city driving or longer journeys.
Fast charging capability will also support convenient charging on the move, helping make electric driving even easier to live with.
The exterior follows Volkswagen’s latest design direction, with clean lines, balanced proportions and a confident, modern look. Even in its preview form, the ID. Cross signals a fresh approach to compact electric SUVs.
The ID. Cross is currently a near-production model, with more details to be confirmed ahead of its European launch expected from autumn 2026.
