Volkswagen has officially revealed the ID. EVERY1, a bold new concept that offers a first glimpse at the brand’s entry-level electric vehicle—set to launch in 2027 at around €20,000. Designed to bring electric mobility to everyone, the ID. EVERY1 is part of Volkswagen’s game-changing Electric Urban Car Family and promises smart design, digital features, and sustainable performance.
And when it hits the market? You'll be able to experience it first at Western & Barnetts Volkswagen.
This new EV concept continues Volkswagen’s long legacy of accessible innovation, tracing back to the original Beetle. Now, the ID. EVERY1 brings that same ethos into the electric age—designed specifically for European roads and lifestyles.
With room for four, 305 litres of boot space, and a projected range of at least 250km, this compact car strikes a perfect balance between city-ready practicality and modern performance. Built on the new MEB front-wheel-drive platform, it packs a punch with a 70kW motor (95PS) and a top speed of 130 km/h.
The ID. EVERY1 is more than just a car—it's a platform that evolves with you. The production version will be the first Volkswagen model to feature a completely new software architecture, enabling over-the-air updates, post-purchase upgrades, and continuous feature enhancements across the vehicle’s lifetime.
This means you can customise your car after buying it, keeping it fresh and tailored to your needs well into the future.
Volkswagen’s Head of Design, Andreas Mindt, sums it up best:
“Our ambition was to create something bold yet accessible... the ID. EVERY1 has a self-assured appearance but remains likeable – thanks to details like dynamic front lights and a ‘smiling’ rear.”
Its compact design (3,880mm long) slots between the former up! and the current Polo, but the new silhouette reflects a fresh, modern take—charming, approachable, and full of personality.
This all-electric compact will follow the ID. 2all, launching in 2026 at under €25,000. Together, they form Volkswagen’s Electric Urban Car Family, focused on making EVs more accessible without compromising quality or innovation.
By 2027, Volkswagen plans to roll out nine new models, four of which will use this new MEB platform. It’s all part of their Future Volkswagen vision, aiming to lead the world in technological innovation, safety, and sustainable mobility by 2030.
