Combining the performance and driving enjoyment GTI models are known for with Volkswagen's latest electric technology, the ID. Polo GTI delivers 226 PS and accelerates from 0-62 mph in just 6.8 seconds.
Powered by a 52 kWh battery, the new electric GTI offers a WLTP range of up to 263 miles (424 km), making it suitable for both everyday driving and longer journeys. When charging is required, the battery can be replenished from 10% to 80% in around 24 minutes using a compatible DC rapid charger.

The new model remains instantly recognisable as a GTI, featuring signature red styling elements, an illuminated Volkswagen badge, sporty design details and exclusive GTI touches throughout.
Inside, the cabin combines modern technology with classic GTI inspiration. Red accents, sports seats and a contemporary interpretation of the iconic tartan upholstery pay tribute to previous generations of GTI models.
Despite its sporty character, the ID. Polo GTI remains practical for everyday life. The spacious interior provides increased passenger room, while the luggage compartment offers up to 441 litres of storage, expanding to 1,240 litres with the rear seats folded.
Volkswagen plans to open order books in Europe later this year, with UK pricing and specification details expected to be announced closer to launch.
