Western & Barnetts Volkswagen is proud to share Volkswagen’s world premiere of the all-new T-Roc, a bold reimagining of the brand’s best-selling SUV.
With more than two million units sold worldwide, the T-Roc has become one of Volkswagen’s biggest success stories. Now, a new generation takes the stage with a powerful new design, state-of-the-art hybrid drive systems, and premium technology usually reserved for larger models.
“The time has come: Volkswagen presents the new T-Roc!” announced Volkswagen. “Developed completely from scratch, the second generation of the best seller boasts an expressive design and innovative drive systems.”
The new T-Roc features a redesigned interior with a digital cockpit, a large infotainment display of up to 33 cm, and ambient lighting to create a lounge-like atmosphere. The SUV is also more spacious than before, offering an increase in boot volume to 475 litres.
The updated model gains 12 cm in length, giving it a stronger, more dynamic presence while retaining its distinctive coupé-style rear. New LED headlights come as standard, while IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights and an illuminated Volkswagen logo connected by a slim light strip are available as options. At the rear, a continuous LED crossbar with an illuminated red logo gives the car a striking finish.
Inside, soft-touch surfaces, fabric-wrapped panels, and premium details elevate comfort. Features borrowed from the Tiguan and Tayron include the latest driving experience control system and, for the first time in its class, an optional windscreen head-up display.
“The new T-Roc adopts numerous features from the larger Tiguan and Tayron models,” Volkswagen noted, highlighting the innovative upgrades available across the range.
With the extra length, rear passengers now enjoy greater legroom, even with taller passengers seated up front. Optional ergoActive seats with massage function further enhance long-distance comfort. Families will also appreciate the increased luggage space.
Thanks to its MQB evo platform, the T-Roc benefits from Volkswagen’s most advanced technology. New systems include an enhanced version of Travel Assist, which helps with lane changes and adapts to speed limits, as well as Park Assist Pro, allowing the car to automatically park using smartphone control. An optional exit warning system also alerts occupants to oncoming traffic or cyclists before opening a door.
The new T-Roc launches with two 48V mild hybrid petrol engines (1.5 eTSI) producing 116 PS and 150 PS, each paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Two full hybrid versions will follow, along with a high-performance T-Roc R.
Volkswagen has simplified the range with clearly structured versions: the entry-level T-Roc, Life, Style, and R-Line. Customers can choose from six paint finishes, including new shades Canary Yellow, Flamed Red, and Celestial Blue, with the option of a contrasting black roof.
Built in Palmela, Portugal, the T-Roc continues to be one of Volkswagen’s strongest performers. In 2024 alone, 292,000 buyers across Europe chose the SUV, cementing its status as Volkswagen’s most successful SUV after the Tiguan.
Prices in Germany start at €30,845, with UK pricing and specifications to be announced soon.
