The C-HR is Toyota’s latest addition to the fleet to compete in the small SUV segment. Radical in design and innovative in technology, the C-HR (standing for Coupe-High Rider) is bound to turn heads and be extremely fun to drive.
Where the C-HR outperforms rivals like the Nissan Qashqai is that despite having the same space and similar costs, the design is substantially more styled. The Toyota C-HR’s low sloping roofline emulates the Mercedes GLC or Ranger Rover Evoque. The short-back rear windscreen with distinctive spoiler create a really sports-style impression and the wide front headlights (stretching from centre to above the wheel arch) are beautifully contemporary, aggressive and stylish.
Inside the C-HR, used buyers can find hard-wearing materials that will keep the car in great condition and plenty of extra technology as a minimum. Standard equipment includes automatic lights, automatic wipers, Bluetooth connectivity, DAB radio, adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition.
The car has excellent handling and comfort and despite its size, feels very lightweight to drive. Front-wheel drive is right across the whole range, though there are 1.2l CVT-equipped models can be upgraded to four-wheel drive for drivers looking for something that can really get them out of a muddy or snowy environment.
