The new Tiguan Allspace: with even more space and room for up to 7 people, the Tiguan is bigger and better than ever before. Thanks to its superior handling characteristics and advanced safety and technology systems, the all new Tiguan Allspace not only takes you off on new adventures, it is an adventure in itself.
The generous dimensions of the optional panoramic tilt/slide sunroof provide a pleasant lighting atmosphere and a clear view of the sky. The front glass element can be opened, raised and lowered electrically. And if ever the stars or city lights are not bright enough, you can bathe the interior in pleasant subdued light.
So much more to discover. At night-time too. Ambient lighting creates mood and atmosphere in the interior and is available on request. Embedded LED lights emphasise individual elements such as door handles, decorative inlays and door sill trims as well as the foot well. The brightness can be continuously adjusted up or down to suit your needs via the central display.
Rev counter, speedometer, odometer – the optional Active Info Display provides this data and much more besides at a glance. And best of all: you can put the focus on the information that is most important to you at any given moment.
Always informed, never distracted: at the touch of a button, the optional “head-up display” extends from the dashboard and places important information such as speed, navigation data and traffic signs directly in the driver’s field of vision.
In slow-moving traffic, the optional Traffic Jam Assist keeps an eye on surrounding vehicles and independently reacts to keep the vehicle in its lane. It also operates the accelerator and brake. In stop-start traffic, it even brings the vehicle to a standstill and automatically moves off again after a given time frame. This is possible thanks to excellent communication between the tried and tested optional Adaptive Cruise Control function and Lane Assist. Traffic Jam Assist takes the pressure off the driver in stop-start situations and therefore helps to reduce the likelihood of a typical traffic jam-related accident.
Park with perspective. The optional extra Area View provides live images of the vehicle from 12 different angles and sends them straight to the cockpit of the new Tiguan Allspace, ensuring that parking is as easy as possible.
Stay in the lane. The Lane Assist function comes as standard in Europe and realises when the vehicle starts to erroneously move across lane markings. It can be activated from 40 mph and employs small jerks of the steering wheel to keep the vehicle in the correct lane.
Parking a vehicle with a trailer or mobile home is a breeze with the optional Trailer Assist. And it works with anything up to an incredible 2.5 tonnes. All you have to do in the new Tiguan Allspace is operate the accelerator and brake and keep your eyes open.
The all new Tiguan Allspace not only takes you to your destination, but also puts you right into the parking spot. The optional Park Assist function measures spaces on the side of the street while you drive past. If it finds a suitable parallel or perpendicular space, it takes over the steering to manoeuvre the vehicle into the spot.
The optional Car‑Net services Security & Service gives you access to essential data relating to your vehicle. The emergency call service automatically establishes a connection with the Volkswagen emergency call centre. Thanks to the crash sensors, your position and relevant vehicle data are automatically forwarded and the rescue services notified. And if you happen to witness an accident, you can also report it manually using the three-button module.
