All-new Nissan LEAF 75kWh Priced from £32,249 Including Electric Car Grant

Nissan has announced that its all-new, British-built LEAF electric vehicle will qualify for the UK government’s £3,750 Electric Car Grant.

The new LEAF 75kWh model offers an impressive range of up to 386 miles on a single charge and will be priced from £32,249, with production starting in Sunderland in December. First customer deliveries are scheduled for February.

About the Nissan LEAF

The all-new LEAF features a sleek aerodynamic design, cutting-edge technology, and a suite of advanced features including Google Built-in, a dimming panoramic roof with LEAF detailing, 3D tail light design, and flush-mounted door handles.

The 75kWh model will be available in four trim levels: Engage, Engage+, Advance, and Evolve. A second 52kWh version with a range of up to 271 miles will also be available, with pricing to be announced later.

Since its debut in 2010, the Nissan LEAF has sold nearly 700,000 units worldwide, cementing its place as the world’s first mass-market electric vehicle.

Proudly built at Nissan’s Sunderland EV manufacturing facility, the new LEAF is Nissan’s most aerodynamic production car to date, delivering faster charging speeds, advanced driver assistance, and integrated technology designed to make EV ownership easier and more rewarding.

The 75kWh battery provides up to 269 miles at 70 mph and supports 150kW DC fast charging, enabling up to 273 miles of range in just 30 minutes. Powered by a 160kW (215hp) electric motor with 355Nm of torque, the LEAF accelerates from 0–62 mph in 7.6 seconds (Sport Mode).

The LEAF has already been recognised with awards, including The Sun’s Car of the Year in the Motor Awards 2025.
