Nissan has reached another remarkable milestone in its electric vehicle journey, celebrating the delivery of its 100,000th electric vehicle to a UK customer. Fittingly, the landmark model is the All-New Nissan MICRA, highlighting just how far Nissan has come since introducing the world's first mass-market electric vehicle to British roads more than 15 years ago.
The historic handover took place at a local Nissan dealership, where Lancashire couple Ron and Gillian Ainsworth became the proud owners of a Rebel Red All-New Nissan MICRA - a vehicle that represents not only a personal milestone for the couple but also a significant moment in Nissan's continued leadership of electric mobility in the UK.
Nissan has been helping drivers make the switch to electric since 2011, when the pioneering Nissan LEAF first arrived in the UK.

The milestone vehicle was delivered to Ron and Gillian Ainsworth, who were unaware that their purchase would become such an important part of Nissan's UK history.
