The Interstar-e, Nissan’s first fully electric large van, leads the charge in urban and long-distance efficiency. Equipped with a 40kWh battery for urban use or an 87kWh option for extended range, it delivers up to 285 miles on a single charge. With DC fast charging capabilities of up to 130kW, the 87kWh battery can achieve 157 miles of range in just 30 minutes, ensuring quick turnaround times.
EV drivers can also enjoy depot-friendly charging options: the 40kWh model recharges from 10% to 100% in under 4 hours using an 11kW AC charger, while the 87kWh version supports 22kW AC charging. For businesses needing heavy-duty performance, the electric variant supports payloads up to 1.6 tonnes and towing capacities of 2.5 tonnes.
For businesses preferring traditional engines, the Interstar features a highly efficient 2.0-litre diesel engine, offering up to 170PS and 380Nm of torque. With reduced fuel consumption—averaging just 7.4L/100km—this engine provides cost-effective performance for longer journeys. Paired with either a 6-speed manual or a refined 9-speed automatic transmission, the diesel-powered Interstar delivers power and efficiency to suit any driving preference.
The Interstar excels in adaptability with multiple configurations tailored to various industries. Featuring a load area up to 3855mm, a side door width of 1312mm, and cargo capacities ranging from 10.8m³ to 14.8m³, this van is built for business. Payload capacities reach 1.9 tonnes for the diesel version and 1.6 tonnes for the electric model, while towing capabilities extend up to 2500kg.
