Western Toyota Stirling were proud sponsors of the recent ‘Let’s Lunch’ fundraising event in support of Strathcarron Hospice, helping to raise an incredible £40,643 on the day for the charity’s vital services.
Held at the Glasgow Westerwood Hotel on Sunday 10th May 2026, the event brought together supporters for an unforgettable afternoon filled with fun, fizz, friendship and fundraising, all in aid of supporting individuals and families living with life-limiting illnesses across local communities.
Strathcarron Hospice provides compassionate, specialist palliative care for people living with conditions including cancer, motor neurone disease (MND), heart failure, respiratory illnesses, neurological conditions and other progressive illnesses. Their dedicated multidisciplinary team — including nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, chaplains, family support staff and creative arts facilitators — work together to deliver person-centred care when it matters most.
As a local charity, Strathcarron Hospice relies heavily on fundraising and community support to continue providing its services free of charge. With only around one third of its funding provided by the Government, the hospice must raise more than £19,452 every day to continue supporting patients and families throughout the region.
Western Toyota Stirling were honoured to support such an important event and contribute to the incredible fundraising efforts that will help the hospice continue its outstanding work within the community.
Western Toyota Stirling would like to congratulate everyone involved in organising and supporting the event, and thank all attendees whose generosity will make a meaningful difference to patients and families supported by Strathcarron Hospice.
