Lexus Self-Charging Hybrid cars have a petrol engine and an electric motor that seamlessly selects the best power source (petrol or electric mode) based on your driving. The hybrid system cleverly charges the electric battery while you are driving. It recovers the energy that would normally be wasted through regenerative braking. The ES delivers a mpg range up to 53.2 mpg (WLTP) and CO2 emissions from 120 g/km. Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax from only 29%.
