Lexus Self-Charging Hybrid cars have a petrol engine and an electric motor. The technology seamlessly selects the best power source (petrol or electric mode) based on your driving. The hybrid system cleverly charges the electric battery while you are driving. It recovers the energy that would normally be wasted through regenerative braking; for example when you are braking to slow down. Customers who took a UX test drive discovered that they spent 52% of the time driving in electric mode. Lower CO2 emissions ( from 113g/km) and Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax from only 27%), the UX is the perfect fit for your next company car.
