The result of a five-year creative journey, the fifth-generation Lexus flagship transforms the luxury saloon into a totally new art form. Our designers have always pushed boundaries, but this latest LS extends the frontiers of technology even further with Multi Stage Hybrid – a breakthrough technology that transforms the Lexus Self-Charging Hybrid powertrain performance. Re-imagined from the ground up, it offers superb handling agility and exhilarating performance, yet refuses to compromise on comfort and luxury.
Hand-pleated door linings, Shimamoku wood patterns and decorative trim inspired by Edo Kiriko cut glass complement the ‘Takumi’-crafted leather seats in the LS' whisper-quiet cabin.
Inspired by Japanese hospitality, when you touch the door handle the LS rises to welcome and assist your entry, while the front seat bolsters lower automatically to greet you as you take your seat .
Reassuringly, the LS is also equipped with next-generation Lexus Safety System+ A. Available on Takumi grade, the system’s advanced technology now includes the world’s first pedestrian detection function with active steering.
To keep you refreshed, the 28-way adjustable front seat can perform shiatsu massages, while rear seat passengers can enjoy a reclining ottoman with seven shiatsu massage programmes and extra heaters.
The hushed serenity of the cabin provides an ideal stage for the Mark Levinson® system featuring Quantum Logic Immersion technology and a ceiling array to create a unique 3D concert-like experience.
The LS 500h features the world's first Multi Stage Hybrid system, which seamlessly combines the power of a 3.5 litre V6 dual VVT-i petrol engine and an advanced electric motor, and amplifies output with our pioneering fourstage shift device, responding instantly to the accelerator for dynamic performance.
Lexus takes all the effort out of parking with its fully automated Advanced Park system, appearing for the first time on the LS 500h. It is also the first Lexus system and the first in the luxury car segment to have a memory function that will recognise and store details of spaces the driver uses regularly, making the parking process even more easy.
