Digital Extras and the intuitive MBUX Virtual Assistant[a] work together to create a more personalised driving experience, learning your preferences and anticipating your needs to make every journey feel effortless and intuitive.
The use of certain Digital Extras requires continuous acceptance of the applicable Digital Extras Terms of Use and the Mercedes me ID Terms of Use in their respective current versions. A permanent pairing between the vehicle and a Mercedes-Benz user account is required, along with consent for the storage and retrieval of information necessary to activate selected Digital Extras within the paired vehicle. Where applicable, individual Digital Extras must also be activated.
Some Digital Extras are provided for a limited period and may be extended for a fee via the Mercedes-Benz Store, subject to availability for the relevant vehicle at that time.
Additional requirements or restrictions may apply to certain Digital Extras, including customer-owned contracts with third-party providers (for example, streaming services or data contracts for “Comfort Data Volume”), activation of additional Digital Extras, or the use of compatible third-party devices such as smartphones or smartwatches. Depending on the generation of the multimedia system, a customer-owned data connection (e.g. via mobile hotspot) may be required as an alternative.

Availability of network-based services, including the emergency call system, depends on local network coverage and the availability of mobile network providers.
