Stuttgart/Milton Keynes. The all-new electric Mercedes-Benz GLC is now available to order in an additional 250 variant, alongside the existing GLC 400 4MATIC. The GLC 250 is priced from £55,4951 in Sport specification.
The all‑new electric GLC enhances the unmistakable “Welcome home.” feeling with a welcoming sense of comfort, safety and an intuitive digital experience. In the brand’s anniversary year, Mercedes‑Benz underlines its pioneering spirit and long-standing commitment to customer benefits – embodied by the first Mercedes‑Benz to debut the evolved design language, highlighted by a re‑designed, optionally illuminated and animated chrome grille. Already generating more orders than any other electric vehicle in the company’s history, the electric GLC is currently produced in Bremen in a three-shift operation.
The GLC 250 is equipped with an 85 kWh battery (usable) and a 354 hp/260 kW electric motor driving the rear axle. The maximum range is up to 389 miles, according to WLTP2. A ten to 80 percent charge takes 22 minutes, with a maximum charge rate of 320 kW3. The GLC 250 can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 5.9 seconds.
Like the GLC 400 4MATIC, the GLC 250 is available in Sport, AMG Line, AMG Line Premium, AMG Line Premium Plus and Premier Edition specifications. The optional Refinement Package, including intelligent AIRMATIC air suspension and 4.5-degree rear‑axle steering, delivers outstanding ride comfort and exceptional agility. Generous space – including a 128‑litre frunk – and a towing capacity of up to 2.2 tonnes4 underscore the GLC 250’s versatility.
Inside, the immersive MBUX Hyperscreen – fitted to AMG Line Premium, AMG Line Premium Plus and Premier Edition specifications – introduces a new digital dimension, powered by the Mercedes‑Benz Operating System (MB.OS), which seamlessly connects infotainment, comfort, charging and driver assistance while enabling regular over‑the‑air updates via the Mercedes‑Benz Intelligent Cloud.
Advanced driver assistance is bundled under MB.DRIVE, with standard features such as DISTRONIC Distance Assist and Parking Assist, and optional packages extending functionality up to SAE Level‑2‑supported assisted driving and 360‑degree surround visibility when parking, making the electric GLC a highly intelligent, intuitive and future‑ready companion.
