Mercedes-Benz electrifies: A customised electric G-Class takes the Summoner’s Cup from Berlin via Paris to London

Stuttgart/Berlin. Mercedes-Benz celebrates the start of the League of Legends 2024 World Championships in Europe and presents this year’s trophy carrier. As the official automotive partner of all global League of Legends Esports events, Mercedes-Benz will accompany Worlds 2024 from Berlin via Paris to the Final in London.

A highlight of Worlds 2024 is the new Trophy Carrier of the legendary Summoner’s Cup: the all-new electric G-Class. As the Trophy Carrier, the electric G-Class will transport the iconic trophy to the Worlds Final in November taking place in London. The Trophy Carrier is a unique vehicle, equipped by the in-house MANUFAKTUR customisation programme. Mercedes-Benz MANUFAKTUR offers customers unique personalization options as well as exclusive paint finishes and interior parts. Among others, the electric G‑Class features a Worlds logo stitched on the head cushions. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a uniquely manufactured trunk module to ensure the safe transport of the Summoner’s Cup.

Besides presenting the Trophy Carrier, Mercedes-Benz provides exclusive championship rings, which have been designed in cooperation with League of Legends publisher Riot Games, for the Worlds winning team.

Furthermore, with the start of the tournament, Mercedes-Benz is launching its new campaign reflecting the official Worlds 2024 motto ‚Make Them Believe’.

In addition to the partnership with League of Legends publisher Riot Games, Mercedes-Benz Korea is sponsor of the team ‘T1’, led by superstar Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok. The Korean team was crowned World Champion in Seoul last year and will look to defend their title in 2024. With his fourth World Championship title, Faker is the record holder and was the first member to be inducted into the Hall of Legends this year.

Worlds 2024 will be held in three European capitals from 25 September to 2 November. The tournament will start with the Play-ins and Swiss stage in Berlin, followed by the Knockout in Paris. London will host the Final of League of Legends Worlds 2024 on 2 November.
