Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. The new all-electric Mercedes-Benz CLA has won Best Company Car and the Disruptor Award at the 2026 Parkers New Car Awards.
As the first model in a new family of vehicles underpinned by the flexible Mercedes-Benz
Modular Architecture (MMA), the electric CLA 250+ has a range of up to 484 miles1 in Sport Edition specification and can be recharged at up to 320 kW – meaning over 200 miles of range can be added in ten minutes2. The new Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) integrates and controls every aspect of the vehicle – from infotainment and automated driving to comfort and charging.
Keith Adams, Editor of Parkers, said: “Electric cars have come of age, and the new Mercedes-Benz CLA 250+ shows just how far they’ve travelled. With sleek coupé styling, a futuristic and easy-to-use interior and more than 400 miles of real-world driving range, it sets a new benchmark for executive electric motoring.”
“Underneath its elegant bodywork is an advanced 800-volt electrical system shared with the EQXX concept, enabling ultra-rapid 320kW charging – enough to add hundreds of miles during a quick coffee stop. That makes it one of the most usable EVs on sale, ideal for high-mileage drivers who want both efficiency and convenience.”
The CLA is available to order now, priced from £45,6153.
