Solid start to 2025 for Mercedes-Benz UK
Mercedes-Benz UK has made an encouraging start to 2025. Registrations increased by 15 percent in the first full month of 2025 (compared with January 2024) to 6,361 units. Electric vehicles (BEVs) accounted for over one third of those registrations, positioning Mercedes-Benz as the second-largest BEV manufacturer by sales volume in the UK in the month of January.
Soon Mercedes-Benz will reveal the new CLA. The first vehicle based on the new Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture, the CLA will set new standards in range, efficiency, and charging speed, offering customers a choice between an advanced electric drivetrain and a high-tech electrified combustion engine.
Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé line-up expanded, with 43, 55 and 63 PRO models now available in the UK
The Mercedes-AMG GT 43, GT 55 and GT 63 PRO are available to order in the United Kingdom. The newly introduced models are priced from £101,6952, £143,6052 and £176,6052 respectively.
The GT 43 is equipped with the AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a maximum output of 421 hp (310 kW). It can accelerate from zero to 62mph in 4.6 seconds and reach 174 mph. The lightweight engine and rear-wheel drive makes the GT 43 extremely agile with exceptionally dynamic handling.
The GT 55 and GT 63 PRO are fitted with the AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine. In the GT 55 the V8 develops 476 hp (350 kW) and 700 Nm. It can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds and reach 183 mph. The GT 63 PRO is aimed at car enthusiasts who are looking for exceptional driving dynamics. The increased power – 612 hp (450 kW) – aerodynamic fine tuning with further reduced aerodynamic lift and enhanced cooling contribute to increased driving dynamics and faster times on the race track.
Popular Urban Edition specification extended to EQA and EQB
The Mercedes-Benz EQA and EQB are now available in Urban Edition guise, following a successful launch of the specification for C-Class, E-Class, GLC and GLE models in 2024.
Urban Edition vehicles make dynamic AMG-inspired styling available to a wider range of Mercedes-Benz customers: the EQA and EQB Urban Editions are equipped with the Night Package and 20-inch AMG alloy wheels in black, while the interior benefits from illuminated star-pattern trim. The EQA and EQB Urban Editions are available to order from today in 250+ specification for £51,9602 and £55,0102 respectively.
Mercedes-Benz UK enhances MANUFAKTUR programme for S-Class, with other models to follow
S-Class customers can now choose from 50 additional paint colours as part of the MANUFAKTUR Exclusive programme. Introduced in the United Kingdom for the 2025 model year on all S-Class models including the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and Mercedes-AMG S 63 S E PERFORMANCE, the new colour palette features gloss, solid and matte Magno finishes. The MANUFAKTUR Exclusive programme will be introduced for other top-end models in the coming months.

Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 HYBRID available to order, with 544 hp and up to 56 miles1 of electric range
With the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 HYBRID as an SUV or Coupé, the performance car brand from Affalterbach is supplementing its SUV model portfolio with a long-range plug-in hybrid (PHEV).
Available in the UK alongside the mild-hybrid AMG GLE 53, the AMG GLE 53 HYBRID combines the 3.0-litre in-line six‑cylinder engine with a 100 kW electric motor and a 31.2 kWh traction battery. With a total system output of 544 hp (400 kW) and 750 Nm, the AMG GLE 53 HYBRID can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds. Its top speed is limited to 155 mph – up to 87 mph is possible without using the combustion engine.
The AMG GLE 53 HYBRID can travel up to 56 miles1 on electric power alone. A 60 kW DC charger is equipped as standard in the UK, allowing the battery to be charged from ten to 80 percent in 20 minutes. The AMG GLE 53 is priced from £94,1402, while the AMG GLE 53 HYBRID is available from £94,3602.
Electric G-Class now available in AMG Line Premium Plus specification, following success of EDITION ONE
Following the successful market launch of the electric Mercedes-Benz G-Class in exclusive EDITION ONE specification, the G 580 with EQ Technology can now be ordered in the same AMG Line Premium Plus specification as the mild-hybrid G 450 d and G 500 models.
G-Class customers can choose from the same range of colours, upholstery and option packages regardless of whether they are specifying a combustion or electric model. The electric G-Class can be exclusively specified, at no additional cost, with the distinctive Design Box in place of a spare wheel. The electric G-Class is available to order now in AMG Line Premium Plus specification, with prices starting from £154,8102.
