At Western Mercedes-Benz, we love seeing our vehicles become part of memorable experiences, and our latest collaboration with Scottish fashion and lifestyle content creator Josh Reid was the perfect example.
We handed Josh the keys to the stunning Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet and sent him north to experience the car against some of Scotland’s most beautiful scenery. Combining contemporary luxury, open-top driving and the freedom of the Scottish roads, the trip provided the perfect opportunity for Josh to capture a collection of lifestyle content showcasing the CLE Cabriolet in its natural environment.
From winding country roads to dramatic landscapes, the CLE Cabriolet proved to be a fitting companion for a few days exploring Scotland. With its elegant proportions and sophisticated design, the car looks equally at home parked against a spectacular Highland backdrop as it does cruising through the city.
The CLE Cabriolet is designed to make every journey feel like an occasion. Its fully automatic acoustic fabric soft top can be opened at the touch of a button, allowing drivers and passengers to enjoy open-air motoring whenever the conditions allow. The roof can even be opened or closed while driving at speeds of up to 37mph while features such as AIRCAP and AIRSCARF help make open-top driving comfortable throughout the year.
Inside, the CLE Cabriolet combines premium materials with a modern, driver-focused environment. The 12.3-inch digital driver display and 11.9-inch central display bring the latest Mercedes-Benz technology to the cabin, while optional features such as the Burmester® 3D surround sound system add another level of luxury to the experience.
For Josh, however, it was the combination of comfort, refinement and the opportunity to experience Scotland with the roof down that really stood out.
“I had a brilliant experience with the car. The interior was exceptional, with a really premium feel throughout, and the level of comfort made it an effortless car to spend time in. The driving experience was equally impressive, incredibly smooth and refined, but still really enjoyable to drive.
Getting the roof down and taking it through some of Scotland’s scenery was definitely a highlight and made for a pretty memorable few days.
