Mattel Brick Shop™ and Hot Wheels® Introduce Collector Builds of Two Iconic Honda Models

Honda fans and collectors have something new to get excited about, as Mattel has announced the launch of two Mattel Brick Shop™ Hot Wheels® building sets created in collaboration with Honda – marking the first time Honda vehicles have been recreated in this buildable format.

Expanding the Mattel Brick Shop Speed Series™, the new collection features two legendary Japanese performance cars: the Custom ’90 Honda Civic EF and the ’07 Honda S2000. Both models are authentically recreated in buildable 1:32 scale and designed with adult collectors, car enthusiasts and building fans in mind.

The highly detailed sets celebrate Japanese performance heritage and ’90s tuning culture, combining accurate styling, real metal components and a range of customisation options. To mark Honda’s debut within Mattel Brick Shop™, the builds were displayed alongside full-size vehicles, showcasing their impressive accuracy – from instantly recognisable body shapes to headlights, windows and exterior lines. The ’07 Honda S2000 also features an authentic windshield and spoiler, closely reflecting the real-world car.

Both the Custom ’90 Honda Civic EF and the ’07 Honda S2000 include opening doors, interchangeable wheel covers and custom decal sheets, mirroring the personalisation possibilities found in Honda’s real vehicles. Each set is finished with a Hot Wheels signature metal plate and includes an exclusive matching 1:64 scale die-cast car, strengthening the link between the buildable models and the iconic Hondas that inspired them.
