We have faith in our vehicles. So much faith, that you can enjoy Mercedes-Benz MobiloVan cover for up to 30 years – at no extra cost to you. As long as you service your van with an authorised Mercedes-Benz Dealer, you’re covered.

Mercedes-Benz MobiloVan cover is automatically extended up until the next due service, for up to 30 years. It can be reactivated at any time, even if your last service was several years ago.

Mercedes-Benz MobiloVan[b] services range from rapid, expert help from a Mercedes-Benz Service 24h technician at the scene of the breakdown, right up to the provision of a replacement vehicle. These and other services are offered as standard with Mercedes-Benz MobiloVan.

[b]The current version of Mercedes-Benz MobiloVan is valid for the Sprinter, Vito and Citan models. MobiloVan initially applies to all vehicles first registered from 1 October 2012 for 3 years without service requirements and the technical breakdown the technical breakdown cover is then renewed from service to service at an authorised Mercedes-Benz Service Partner for up to 30 years.

Minor mishaps and driver error are also covered for the first three years.[c]

For three years after your vehicle is first registered, MobiloVan will cover you for using the wrong fuel, running out of fuel completely or losing all your electric charge. It also includes losing your keys or locking them in the van, two or more flat tyres, being involved in a road traffic accident, vandalism and attempted theft.

[c]MobiloVan applies to vehicles purchased from an authorised Mercedes-Benz Dealer, originally destined for and first registered in the UK on or after 01.10.2012. To extend your coverage beyond the initial three years of warranty cover and up to a maximum of thirty years, have your vehicle serviced at one of our approved workshops and it will automatically be renewed until the next service is due. Coverage extension beyond the initial three years excludes minor mishap cover. Terms and conditions apply.

Thanks to the close-knit service network of authorised Mercedes-Benz Service Partners, Mercedes-Benz MobiloVan offers you rapid assistance there and then in the case of technical breakdowns as well as many other useful services. In most cases we can get you back on the move in your own vehicle from the scene of the breakdown.


  • From initial registration 1 October 2012 for all Citan, Sprinter, Vito models.
  • Basic term three years.
  • In the event of technical breakdowns and workshop visits under warranty and goodwill, you benefit from numerous mobility services.


  • Until the next service with an authorised Mercedes-Benz Service Partner is due.
  • From service to service for up to 30 years from initial registration.
  • In the event of technical breakdowns, you benefit from numerous mobility services.

Mercedes-Benz MobiloVan applies without mileage limit to any Citan, Sprinter and Vito model:

  • With initial registration on or after 1 October 2012.
  • Sold and delivered by Daimler AG or the Mercedes-Benz sales organisation in the coverage area.
  • Which are registered and being operated in these countries at the time of cover application.

Mobility services at a glance:[d]

  • Technician travel expenses for travel to and from breakdown location.
  • On-the-spot help with minor repairs up to £130 incl. VAT (additional material costs for tyres, batteries, keys, fuels, lubricants and consumables are not covered).
  • Towing to the nearest authorised Mercedes-Benz Service Partner.
  • Taxi/limousine service/local public transport up to a maximum of £65 incl. VAT in the event of breakdown or requirement to leave vehicle in workshop.
  • Vehicle return service within a radius of 30 miles of your authorised Mercedes-Benz Service Partner.
  • Replacement vehicle while the vehicle is being repaired, up to 3 working days. The customary market conditions apply for this benefit (e.g. excess for rental vehicles). Type of vehicle subject to availability. Not covered are other costs such as for service fluids etc.
  • Flight/train/bus for a return journey up to £340 per person incl. VAT for you and those travelling with you. Cannot be combined with a replacement vehicle.
  • Hotel accommodation incl. breakfast for the duration of the repair for yourself and those travelling with you, for a maximum of three working days and up to a maximum of £340 per person.
