This home charger is typically a smart 7kW unit - a powerful and efficient home charging solution that’s compatible with modern electric vehicles and able to charge your car much faster and more safely than a standard plug socket. Motability’s partner providers, such as Ohme, handle the installation process from start to finish, taking the hassle out of organising home charging yourself. You’ll also receive useful tools like the accompanying app to help you schedule charging during cheaper off-peak electricity hours, helping keep your running costs as low as possible.
Even if you can’t have a home charger installed - for example, if you live in a flat without off-street parking - Motability still supports you with other charging options. In that case, you’ll receive a subscription to the BP Pulse public charging network and access to the Motability Go Charge app and card, giving you access to thousands of public chargepoints across the UK.
